I, like many other conservatives who believe in a free market and capitalism, find it disturbing to see America elect someone as far left as Barack Obama to the most important position in the United States. However, that does not dispel the obligation or love for my Country. It is for this reason I support and respect the position he will soon hold.
I did not vote for Barack Obama, nor do I believe he can ever convince his “Robin Hood” philosophy to “distribute the wealth” to be correct.
I do believe in charity and that those who can afford to do so should help those in need. And I believe the American people to be the most charitable in the world. The people of America have always rushed to the aid of all those in need around the world time and time again. No one has ever had to force them to redistribute their wealth, offer a helping hand or go to arms to fight terrony. They have proven themselves throughout history.
America is a land of opportunity, no Country is more desirable, and people from all over the world want to come and call her their home. We are a capitalist ideologist based country who believes the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution of the United States states that all people are created equal and all have the inalienable right to succeed. Barack Obama is living proof of this fact, and should respect the rights of all citizens. We must not turn our backs on those who truly need help, but it is not wrong to deny those simply looking for a hand out.
Marcus Tullius Cicero (106BC – 43BC) a famous Roman Politian and orator, said in 55BC, “The arrogance of officialdom should be tempered and controlled, and assistance to foreign hands should be curtailed, lest Rome fall.”
Rome did fall, and much can be learned from history, it is a foolish man who ignores that which history has taught us and insists on learning from his own mistakes.
I am disappointed my candidate lost, but, I wish Obama success for the good of America. I also extend condolences to him and his family in their time of grief. The loss of his grand-mother at such a critical time in his life is devastating and exceptionally distracting at a time when a clear mind is crucial. As he prepares to organize his transitional team in preparation for the most important job he will ever hold, he will need as little distraction as possible.
I pray for the safety of him and his family, but I can’t help thinking of his words when he spoke of residents of small-town America. He said “They cling to guns or religion or antipathy to people who aren’t like them”. I can only hope God listens to my prayers, for the Bible tells us in Mathew that Jesus said, “Therefore everyone who confesses Me before men, I will also confess him before My Father who is in heaven. “But whoever denies Me before men, I will also deny him before My Father who is in heaven.” – Mathew 10:32, 33.
It is well documented that the first one hundred days of a new presidents administration sets the agenda for the next four years to come. The best advice one can give this new President elect is to tell him heed the words of some very wise successful Statesmen of past.
Fifty-one years after the death of Abraham Lincoln, William J. H. Boetcker (1873 – 1962) an American religious leader and influential public speaker echoed the words of the great emancipator and formulated his famous list of the 10 “Can Nots”:

It is believed Thomas Jefferson first said, “A government big enough to give you everything you want, is strong enough to take away everything you have”, which has been echoed by everyone from Davy Crockett to Gerald Ford, and still stands true today.
So for Mr. Obama, I wish him well and ask God, (as I cling to my religious beliefs) to grant him the power to make wise and good decisions, and not let the words of Iran’s president Mahm?d Ahmadinej?d go to his head. Ahmadinej?d is an evil man bent on world dominance and the destruction of Israel and certainly does not have America’s interests in mind.

In my view, free market and capitalism and communism are on two extreme ends, both are not good for human life, having a lot of bad impacts in the society, I think Islamic Economics and Islamic Finance can play a good role here, as it’s good effects of both capitalism and communism, and it’s having some morality also in transactions, I think , now it’s the best time to study about it.
Yeah, “America is a land of opportunity”, but we can also improve something more in every field, There ll be no end for improving more and more.
A “Free Market” is Capitalism, and Communism is a form of Marxism which believes in “Distribution of Wealth” (At least for the lower and middle class. Islam believes women are sub-servient to man and probably wouldn’t allow you to write this comment. So I think I stick with Capitalism and a free market system of government.
